DIY Egg Face Mask - Perfect For Spring

Eggs, the symbol of spring and new beginnings, have been used by women for centuries in order to cure dry skin. They are packed with protein and lecithin, which is a natural lubricant for the skin. Adding a bit of sour cream to the mix will help slough off any dead skin cells, too. 



Ingredients:
1 raw egg
1 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of sour cream

Directions: 


Mix together all the ingredients and slather over your face and neck. Let the mask sit for 15-20 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.

Home Made Rose Water and Amazing Beauty Tips with Rose Water

Home Made Rose Water:


Ingredients:
  • Organic Roses (as many as you like - about 7 to 8)
  • Distilled water (enough to cover the rose petals- about 1.5 litres)
Instructions:
  1. Remove petals from stems and run them under luke-warm water to remove any leftover residue.
  2. Add petals to a large pot and top with enough distilled water to just cover 
  3. Over medium-low heat bring the water to a simmer and cover.
  4. Let simmer for 20-30 minutes or until petals have lost their color and are a pale pink.
  5. Strain the mixture to separate the petals from the water.
  6. Discard petals and place water in a glass jar to store.
